I'm happy!!!

Bugger it - no more excuses! Just random pictures of the past couple of months...

My best friend and I have known each other for 10 years - reason enough to spend a weekend in Bargara - with the ocean, wine, nibbles and loots of laughter! It was a great weekend away. I just wish I could stay awake until past 10 pm...
The chooks are laying and I have Easter eggs without even having to colour them!
I went to the hairdresser to get my greys blended out - love the colour!!! Let's see how well it hides my greys...
Janus is nearly fully grow. He's so beautiful inside and out - I feel truly blessed to have him!
Before I go to work, I walk Janus and enjoy my coffee - this time by the Pool.
The autumn sunsets are amazing  ...
... and so are the mozzies... I enjoy the evenings in the Patio protected from the little critters.
Cyclone Debbie  devastated large parts of the coast. The cyclone hit Airlie Beach and went along the coast causing destruction in Queensland and New South Wales before she went over to New Zealand causing further destruction. Mr S's sisters were victim of her harvoc and so Mr S set out to help them, bring fuel, power (via the generator) and food.
It was a long way and a though week but he was able to help which is great!
I see these guys every morning, one even jumped in front of me on during my morning walk.
Yes, of course I'm still sewing. This time I made a matching blouse for my skirt. Pretty cool, hey?!
The herb garden is growing and growing.
I'm curious to see if there will be any pumpkin growing...
Janus, my little prince in front of our wedding Jacaranda...

He loves to retrieve and he's pretty well behaved for a 9-month-old puppy.
I have finally finished my Easter table runner. Love those colours, it's perfect!
The sun is rising later and I now can watch it rise while taking Janus for a walk.
These guys are waiting for their morning carrot.
Yes, I'm happy. I love how my life is at the moment. My relationship is going better than ever, I love my Fluffball. I enjoy gardening, sewing, embroidery, knitting, cooking and baking. I still work but I have plenty of time to enjoy all the things I love doing. I'm 40 years old now, I probably have lived half of my life. But if I can be that happy for the rest of it, I'm truly grateful!
About 10 days after cyclone Debbie, Rockhampton was flooded. This is the roundabout to get into town. I was lucky and didn't get cut off but there were lots of people not so lucky...
Like I said before, the sunsets in autumn are truly amazing!!!
I used the time when Mr S was away to clean my fabric stack - no more shopping for fabric until I used most of this!!!
 Enjoying a quiet night...
 ... and a morning breakfast.
'Green Thursday' - the day before Good Friday. We used to eat this in Germany when I was a kid. I didn't like it as I didn't like Spinach. How things change. I love spinach now and will make this more often for myself. Also Mr S didn't even want to try this...
How good is this Ryebread looking?! It was very tasty and stayed fresh for a long time.
Our Good Friday dinner - Mediterranean Snapper.
Now Easter has been over for over a week and I have enjoyed the days off. I still had some catching up to do on some things but I'm finished now and even more organised. Life is good and I'm very happy!!!

Meal Planning

I used to struggle with meal planning. I made this great plans to try all these amazing recipes and then I went shopping and bought loads of...
